First Degree AV Block
First-degree AV block is a type of heart block where the electrical signals moving through the atrioventricular (AV) node are delayed but still conducted normally. It is the mildest form of AV block. The AV node is responsible for transmitting electrical impulses from the atria to the ventricles, coordinating the heartbeat.
