Junctional Escape Rhythm
Junctional Rhythm is a type of abnormal heart rhythm that originates in the AV node or nearby tissues in the junction between the atria and the ventricles of the heart. This rhythm occurs when the normal electrical impulses from the sinoatrial (SA) node are blocked or absent, so the AV node takes over as the pacemaker of the heart.
