Sinus Arrest/Pause

Sinus arrest is a medical condition that occurs when the heart's sinoatrial node stops generating electrical impulses for a short period of time. If it lasts more than 1.8(secs) then it is considered as sinus pause.

ECG Features

Heart rate: May vary

P wave: Present absent during the Pause/arrest

QRS: Normal or prolonged

PR-interval: Usually narrow

Rhythm: Irregular
