Supraventricular Tachycardia

Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) refers to a group of abnormal heart rhythms that originate above the ventricles, in the atria or the atrioventricular (AV) node. SVT results in a rapid heart rate, typically above 100 beats per minute, and can cause symptoms ranging from mild to severe.
