Bundle Branch Block

A Bundle Branch Block (BBB) is a condition in which there is a delay or block in the electrical conduction along one of the bundle branches of the heart's conduction system. This results in the impairment of the normal sequential contraction of the ventricles, which can be seen on an ECG

There are two main types of Bundle Branch Block:

1.Right Bundle Branch Block (RBBB)

2.Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB)

Right Bundle Branch Block (RBBB)

In RBBB, the electrical impulses are delayed or blocked in the right bundle branch, which affects the right ventricle's ability to contract at the proper time.

Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB)

In LBBB, the electrical impulses are delayed or blocked in the left bundle branch, which affects the left ventricle's contraction.
